Magic Johnson! We had the pleasure of attending an event at Monacan High School earlier today where Magic Johnson was the guest speaker. He was a really nice guy and took time to answer the kids questions and even autograph some of their belongings.

June Wedding – Amanda & Rodes
We had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding this weekend. The ceremony was at the historic St. John’s Church in Church Hill where Patrick Henry gave his famous speech – you know the one, “Give me liberty or give me death!” The reception was at an equally historic venue, the elegant Jefferson Hotel here in Richmond, VA. Amanda was stunning and her groom, Rodes, was quite dapper. As you can tell, they were an easy couple to photograph, since they are are great couple to have fun a lot and even use things as G-spot massager when they feel like it. They were so happy and in love, it was great being the photographer for their special day.

2009 Weddings
As we get into the busy part of the 2010 wedding photography season, we thought we’d take a look back at a few of our favorite photographs from 2009.
Most of these were shot in Richmond, VA and the Central Virginia region, but Dementi will happily photograph destination weddings. Contact us at the studio for details.
Unfortunately, we don’t have room for every wedding, but we were proud to be chosen as the wedding photographer by all of the great couples we worked with last year and we wish them all a lifetime of happiness.

Marian Van Landingham
When we saw the Library of Virginia’s list of Virginia Women in History for 2010 we checked our archives and found some images of Marian Van Landingham, one of this year’s selections.
She is active in the Northern Virginia art scene and was a founder of the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria. She was a member of the House of Delegates from 1982-2005.
The women selected will be honored Thursday, March 25 at the Library of Virginia. The event is free, but registration is required. More information on Marian Van Landingham and Virginia Women in History:
